South India trip - a drive of 9015 km along coastline
My wife Sushma, son Taru and I
made a trip to see the southern coastline of India by self driven car Hyundai "Accent'.
It took us 26 days and 9015 km of driving to complete the journey. On our way
cutting through many cities and villages I photographed people, highways and
took panoramic shots wherever I could make it. All the shots were taken by
handheld cameras since there was no time to set up a tripod on the highways. I used Mamiya 645, Nikon 100 and Nikon D2X cameras. The slides were scanned by Super
Coolscan 9000 ED. Surprisingly, the pictures came alright except a few shots
that I missed.
